Can someone please tell me the settings i should have for catalyst drivers to get the best performance in halo? Here's the settings i'm looking for:

Anti-Aliasing
Anisotropic Filtering
Catalyst A.I.
Mipmap Detail
Truform
Direct 3D (geometry instancing, DXT support, alternating pixel center)

What are the best choices for each of these? Any other settings not listed here are welcome too.

Anisotropic Filtering--application preference
Catalyst A.I.--Advanced
Mipmap Detail--High Quality
Truform--always off
Direct 3D--geometry instancing on; DXT on; Alternating pixel center off

I have an ATI x300se with catalyst 5.5

so...you're saying that i shouldn't have it on? There is no option plainly labled "off", just application preference and other levels of override.
