This is just a thought and may end up not being the case. But when I look at the Reach banner I see one elite and 4 spartans. I think that in Reach armor perms will be similar to perks in call of duty. One thing I would like to state is that IMO COD jumped on the FPS band waggon and created a fun FPS. On another note I like COD:MW and WAW but they are a longshot from Halo. However that doesn't mean nothing can be learned from this game. Ever since I played vidoe games as a child I loved to customize my character, from the clothes, weapons, hair, and now face. I think Halo is going to marry the idea of armor perms with perks, to create a unique experiece. I can;t wait.

Perks is too much - I thought equipment was too much.

I want to face a player when:
he has a BR, I have a BR, he's been hit once - I haven't.

I MUST win this, if neither of us miss a shot.

With perks & equipment, they could easily win. It's too many factors, the game would feel too unfair. Players would also abuse their perks a LOT.

E.g. if they had strengthened melee, they'd camp, if they had explosion resistance, they'd grenade at the floor and punch you. If they had longer range, they'd camp far away with the BR.

It would RUIN everything that makes Halo what it is.
