Hello, i am a banned player, banned for a very legitimate reason: Boosting, Whoops!

Anyways, i have been curious, because i am very excited like most of you, about the up coming Halo: ODST, and i have been wondering, since the game will be shipped on 2 discs (Effectively meaning that we will get a new multiplayer) Will players such as myself be able to use the multiplayer functions?

Unfortunately, if you have been banned permanently from Halo 3's Matchmaking, you will almost certainly be banned from ODST's Matchmaking, as they are effectively the same service.

Personally, despite having no experience with MM bans, I find Bungie's attitude to 'cheaters' to be a little overzealous. However, surely a ban for boosting is only temporary, right?

Oh my god, finally a question from someone who knows what they're talking about, and a question that I haven't seen yet!! :O

But actually I have no idea. Since ODST's Multiplayer disc IS the Halo 3 disc just without Campaign, that leads me to think that you won't be able to play; especially since the two discs are cross-compatible.

Foman is awesome!

That second disk is Halo 3's multiplayer so no.

It all happend at once, i turned my console on and it said i have a 2 week ban, so i thought ok, understandable, then right away, i got a perm ban.

Kind of mean.

but yeah i suppose i shouldn't have done it in the first place, i am a very naughty boy.

I suppose i'll just keep making machinima.
