Subject: Rain, Snow, Wind and Darkness - Environmental Factors in Reach

Lurking in the shadows, watching and waiting for the right time, the right place and the right target...

"When the game is over, the king and pawn go into the same box." - Dr. Catherine Halsey

In case you were wondering, yes I AM CANADIAN.

I think its safe to say that everyone is expecting and hoping that Halo Reach's campaign should be awesome.

One of the more interesting aspects of Halo: CE was it's environment. Everything from the genuine feeling of vastness and openess to storming a Covenant battle cruiser in the middle of the night.

I would really like to see some rain, wind, snow and all kinds of other environmental factors in HR. Maybe some more night missions during a thunder storm? or how about trying to defend one of Reach's Orbital Mac Gun Generators while a wicked snow storm rages on?

What do you guys think?

I think it could be cool effects, especially in multiplayer for the rain.

Wind could be iffy if it affects game physics, people won't like it when they try to throw a grenade and it ends up getting caught in the wind and blowing back into their face.
