Subject: Going Prone??

Here's my advice to you son, its a life lesson you shan't forget.

Some people are like Slinkies. They aren't good for anything in particular, but it still makes you smile when you push them down the stairs

Instant Assisination?

My Maps
Industrial
Tunnel V4
Flogisten : Accidentally Deleted, I hate myself...
Ramped Death : 97% Complete, Awaiting Testing
Osteharcan : Accidentally Deleted, I hate myself...

HALO IS NOT CALL OF DUTY!!! I remember playing CoD 3 with 3 friends on local with one of them constantly going prone in the grass and sniping us while we where clueless on his location.

I dont very much think that spartans need to go prone.

They have:

Steady Aim
Keen Eyesight
Firearms Clutchness
Overall Bestiality

They would only need to go prone for stealth capabilities which I think a Spartan would just never need.

Overall Bestiality? They do it with animals?

Why does everyone think they know what the gameplay is like or what's good for it, going prone could easily be implemented into it, stop thinking inside the halo trilogy box, they came up with a game outside of the series so they could do something NEW!

What advantages would it bring? In Halo there's no problem with unstady aim and it would just reduce mobility and make it harder to aim for the head from close quarters. You'd be able to sneak up on people more easily but as your back would be facing them they could just assassinate you.

In Halo CE 2 and 3 it wouldn't be that useful, but what is Reach like? Ohhhh that's right, nobody knows...

I suppose, but i doubt that Bungie would do a complete overhaul when they're safe with what they've got now. I believe it would work well in campaign as it is but not in matchmaking.

Right but why would they make their last Halo game use the same formula, if you had one last chance to show the world something you'd do it the same way you already have three times? I think Bungie is more the type of developer to want to share a great new experience than make more money off of loyal fans, they are free of M$ now, and M$ is the dairy company, not Bungie.

I suppose you're right and as people will buy the game anyway as it is Halo they could do whatever they like.

It would introduce the "prone-bag".
