Yes, it is possible to mod halo on a mac, just not as good as on pc because pc modding progs. have been out longer than mac modding progs. therefore they have more updates then for macs. I have a mac and I mod halo on it.
Please dont come here 2 flame macs.

Macs are cool and high quality, but a bit expensive. If I had the money, i would buy a mac, but I dont have the green...besides, im not sure if everything I need to use can run on macs.

Im sure yout3 would be delighted to hear this...

The only thing they are useful for is a home-office PC. Forget gaming, moding, networking, or anything else. The OS that comes with it is very un-flexible. Macs suck.

Sh4rk, Alex, you obviously have NEVER used a mac as a base PC. Macs are probably one of the best comps for modding, and the most secure, seamless, easy networking you can possibly get. The only reason that gaming is a slight problem is because people usually don't make their games for the Mac platform.

Anyway, yes, there are Halo modding programs out for mac. I use them, and make my own mods just to have fun (e.g. in PoA switching assault rifle bullets to rockets. and then not telling my roomy teheehee!).

EDIT: Yes, I'm delighted hear that

Macs are probably the best computer to get if you have no interest in gaming. Even then you can get alot of decent games for macs.

I always thought macs were more for the art-oriented person. For example, Macs are almost exclusively used by high-end designers *cough* *bungie* *cough* for creating art, editing photos, designing, etc. You turn on the TV, go to anywhere from MTV to HGTV, and all the editing and designing they do is on a mac.

Besides, most (not all) windows desktops are big blocks. Macs at lest have some form and design to them. And today's macs just scream out the word "cool"

Keep in mind that this is NOT a thread insulting macs! It says so ON THE TITLE!!!

Did you hear about Microsoft's spyware removal tool removed IE? That just cracks me up. It was supposedly a bug but I don't know if I believe them.

Hmm...I bet if that spyware remover did its job right, there would be no OS left on the computer!

Need I say anything?

And to the dude after him, macs are more efficient in their use of resources, so you don't need as much RAM/a lot of clock cycles for the CPU. They're great for graphical work. I really believe you have no idea what you're talking about.

Didn't the thread starter say no flames?

This is why I am not that active here very much. Too many idiots and flamer jerks have migrated over and ruined it.

the difference between a mac flamer and me is that i actually have familiarized myself with macintosh somewhat and have grounds to form a legitimate opinion, rather than just saying "macs suck -blam!-"
