Medals are fun. Ranks are fun for a few weeks after you get the game, EXP and all that stuff is interesting, but why keep it?

It takes away from the fun of the game. The game becomes srz bsns. Why not exclude it from Reach? No service records. It's just entirely free of all that nonsense.

Ranks and EXP perhaps, but medals are a neccesity. Halo has always been about that awesome sound announcer guy pumping you up by naming off your achievements one by one.

Format overruled. Let dueling pistols be distributed.

I suppose leaving medals in but not worrying about ranks would work.

and also if you were to lose the EXP system there wouldnt be a long term goal to play the game. i mean i know playing with friends is mostly what its all about but itll feel like playing COD4 without going prestige. but unlockables wouldnt be a bad idea ;D

YOU'RE STILL ALIVE?!?

Sometimes it keeps people from quitting.

An invisible ranking system, so people don't take it all too seriously, but are still benefiting from the system.

Maybe if there were unlockables through getting a certain amount of kills and stuff like that.

I disagree Chris, service records give us purpose in the game. Purpose other than Goosin' it.
