I am 13 (14 in a month.)...Why do you just assume we are all like that? Sure, the majority of people in my age group are stupid, but not everyone is like that!

Even this is a false assumption. You'll be surprised to find a bunch of the immature, misinformed, oblivious to the search bar users are actually older than us. The fact that we are still strictly governed by our parents, and that they are good ones, is why we know disicipline.

Exactly.

If your in a child account when you sign in they ask for your parent's account and crap, they do check

You FAIL

i doubt that because this game is for 17 year olds!

And here's where you're wrong, the game isn't for 17 year olds, everyone can play it. The ESRB is a suggestion, and only a suggestion, used when a parent needs help choosing a game for his/her child. Some parents feel that there kids can play games that the ESRB thinks they can't, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with this, and for Bungie to remove "under age" gamers from Halo 3 would not only be very unlikely, as Microsoft would never allow it, but would also cut a huge proportion for the money that they make, which any company wouldn't willingly allow.

It is now undoubtably evident that you know nothing about what you're talking about, please, leave the forum before you make yourself seem like more of a fool.

your a -blam!- idiot, if you actually read the post i said this site! you know bungie.net! it says nothing about taking kids off halo 3 so maybe you should just shut up before you yourself seem more like a fool and next time read the post! oh and does that mean 5 year olds should be hearing bad words and see blood. i guess if mommy and daddy say its ok right! idiot!

We all have different views about who should be aloud to play the game so just leave it at that

You're the one not leaving it at that, by the way. You're saying "Because I wouldn't want my ten year old playing Halo I will be intolerant of any of my associates that will!"

Is that a false quote cause I would never say "I will be intolerant of any of my associates that will!"

I actually I did leave it at that. I said we have different views and my view is that 10 year olds shouldnt play since they're not mature enough. Im not arguing about someone else's view since I put that post am I?

Someone who isn't retarded would notice that if I was directing the OP I would quote it, however, I was quoting your statement that this is a game for 17 year olds.

actually i was the one who said this game is for 17 year olds, so the site should be monitored, i think that the yongest person who should own halo 3 should be at least 10 years of age. however this site should be enforced for reasons that no one can stand these stupid questions, like i could handle the "whos hotter? threads" but these people ask the same questions like "flood mode for firefight" "the price is 60$" just all this -blam!- over again and again!

I respect your opinion, but you are completely wrong. If you won't let your child play your game, that's fine, I don't honestly care, I do care, however, that you think because your kid can't play it, no child can, which is ridiculous. There would be no difference if I said "Hey, my child plays Halo, every child has to!"

When did I say I have a child O_o. I'd be pissin my pants if I had a child. If you respect my opinion you could of worded (but your completely wrong" better. You caould have said "I respect your opinion, but I dont agree with it". I'd let my ten year old child(If I had one O_o) play but not online with more mature cursing and talkin about stuff that a ten year old shouldnt know about.(I do hear people talking about stuff like that before with a ten year old there) I think the campaign is fine for kids but not online.

Does it really matter?

Have you ever thought that, maybe, these people just want to communicate, ask questions about something they don't know?

Jeez man, lighten up. This is a community forum and OH MY GOD, believe it or not, children are a part of that community.

Final words on this matter, GET. OVER. IT.

I'm leaving this pointless argument now.

Hypocrite. If you played Halo 2, it's quite likely that this could be exactly or older than your starting age.

The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

Oh so I am guessing you would say 12 year olds count as kids? I am 12 and I act mature, and alot of 8+ act mature also. You fail and I am sick of your threads.

  • 07.25.2009 7:58 PM PDT

I played halo 2 at my cousin's a long time ago. I dont know why it said i played 2 halo2 games on my srvice record so dont ask me why. I didnt play it online and if you read my last post you'll see my reasoning and why Im not a hypocrite. I guess you read it before I added to it(so i wouldnt double post)

please vote yes so bungie can start checking ages for at least 15 year olds! and i know this has almost nothing to do with ODST but im just tired of it!

here is a perfect example of the dumbassness we have to deal with. http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=35188764 stupid info that is very well known but this kid finds it and acts like he found a -blam!- million dollars

It's funny, because someone 15 years old should be able to link.

They CAN'T check ages. it doesn't work. For proof of that, go to ANY adult site, or ANY r16 game trailer on xbox.com. The age checking software is EASILY circumvented.

The way you're acting in this thread is incredibly immature. I know some of the people on this site are my age, or even younger, and a lot of them are MORE mature and helpful then you. You're hardly helping your own arrgument by abusing everybody.
