I took all the ideas I've posted before and compiled them into one thread. If you don't want to read the whole thing i understand, please at least read the ideas for weapons and forge because i feel that that is where my best ideas are located.


Campaign Forge:
They should just make a blank level like sand box and have it with objective like: go to this destination(sets blue way point, optional time limit), kill this enemy(sets red way point), press the switch(s) (puts grey way point and you have to open the switch, possibly make switches that spawn items to make a bridge or activate an elevator?), and placeable enemies that can be set to patrol (walk back and fourth) and can have a offensive/defensive personality.

Custom Games
Bungie should fix existing problems with options before they create new ones, some broken ones include team member(s) respawn when you get a kill and holding objective items while driving. but as for new options they need to make every thing with a 1-100 sliding (or in the of damage resistance 1-2000), they should ad an option for no assassinations, fall damage, forced player model (design a character and every one will be forced to use the same player model. color, armor perms), in infection the infected will be Spartan and [url= http://www.freewebs.com/flood_master/Infected%20Elite.JPGelit e[/url] flood without sword, there beat down would be 1 hit kill and they would be able to lunge as far as if they were holding a sword. under spawn traits pick if the player should spawn driving a vehicle and what kind of vehicle, options to remove only equipment not weapons, an option to remove powerups like OS and camouflage.

They should add a game type where one team is Spartans defending the MAC cannon power generators from a team of elites there would be territories on the way which can be captured not for points but as respawn points to cap them you would just have to move close to them and a territory capture bar would appear, the elites would start with only one spawn territory which would be in phantoms that would hover 3 sandbox stone blocks high or 3 foundry single boxes high this spawn point would not be able to be captured by the Spartans. The Spartans would start off with a base spawn in the generator station behind the reactor which would never be able to be captured by the elites, the Spartans would also control all other spawn territories on the map at the beginning off the game. As the elites capture the spawn territories the phantoms will move up at all times the phantoms will have guns active similar to the ones on snowbound, as soon as an enemy is in range the guns will start to fire, once a spawn territory is captured it is not locked, the Spartans will be able to recap it, and the phantoms will be forced to retreat to the previous spawn. The object of the game is for the elites to overload the MAC canon generator (similar to destroying a scarab but the generator will be like a giant fusion reactor which they will have to damage until the reactor overloads) Spartans will have to defend their reactor


Forge
Options to delete all items on the map, use the existing FX orbs idea but instead of changing the current things make them change the scenery (have a brute FX for sand and stone material, Have a covie FX for covenant purple, have a human FX to have metal boxes and cement for the ground, Have a forerunner FX to make the level and items have the look of the metal ring around sandbox or the texture of cold storage), add 45% snap options

Weapons
Remove both the AR and the BR and have a hybrid, possible MA5K. The MA5K is really powerful but is inaccurate except when you pulse the trigger, this would add a whole new skill level to AR fights. Even with the gun being so inaccurate it would kill way faster than the AR so even with the bullets missing their targets the fights would go by fairly quick, fights would be similar to the BR fights when you pulse the trigger because you would only fire in short bursts to make your weapon more accurate, bring back the 3 shot halo CE pistol, have a human sword and don't say it wont do anything against other elites or Spartans if a spartan/elite can flip a 20 ton elephant I'm sure it can put a sword to good use, they should change something about the hammer or not include it because frankly the hammer ended up being useless. They could possibly increase hammer lunge range (maybe increase sword lunge range to balance this out) change hammer animation to that of the tartaurus(spelling?) boss fight so when you swing the hammer you jump up into the air and hit them in the head.

New Grenade
Add Gravity/Disruptor grenade, it would have the same effect as the blind skull, the effects on movement after being jacked while in a vehicle and increased gravity for 4-7 seconds. The fuse time would be either the frags fuse time or the sticky fuse time but all the times would be up to Bungie to decide in the end.

Weildable Jackle Shield
They should add a jackle shield, it would be like a dual wieldable weapon with 100 charge and every time it breaks it would deplete 20 charge (or more), while in use it would drain like a plasma pistol on overcharge, it would also be used with the sword, but would be the only weapon the sword can dual weild with. This would not be as strong as the deployable cover.

New Weapon
They should add a new weapon like the laser but it would come out of the sky... maybe it would be some kind of generator in a wide open area with no cover and you couldn't move it. You would have to run up to it and charge it for 15 seconds, something like a territory capture bar would appear to show how much time is left, then it would show you an overview of the map (with people) and you'd use it to send lasers out of the sky, then it would overcharge for five minutes (could be tweaked); this could drastically reduce camping. Maybe this could be a future game type instead.


Melee
I cant stress this enough but the melee was perfect in halo CE it had little or no lunge and did a fair amount of damage unlike the current OMG2HITKILL15FOOTLUNGEWTFBBQ, also all the guns had really cool animations, the assault rifle also took more time to hit, but I like Bungie's idea in halo 3 having certain weapons do normal melee (assault rifle, sniper rifle, plasma rifle, pistol etc.) having weapons with stronger melee (spiker), having weapons with extra strong melee (fuel rod, rocket launcher, spartan laser) and weapons with a brutally strong melee (brute shot, sentinel beam), they should have it so different guns have different melee damages and speeds
