Yes, it will be sad to se it go, but I'd rather see the series go out with a bang and just die down rather then having the game series milked to having new, bland, and half thought out Halo games. Halo has to go out while it's on top, not spiral down and down until it ends in a big fireball of failiure from being milked too much.

Let Halo die with honor, and it will go down as one of the greatest gaming series in history.

Too bad Microsoft only sees $$ when they think of Halo, instead of the way they should see it. Which is the masterpiece that deserves to go out on top after 10+ years of work.

They have a new IP they are developing. Bungie-made Halo is over unfortunately.

I speak the truth, and truth speaks itself.
The lies disguise what you despise.
Run. Flee and be, what you've always dreamed.
What happens now won't matter later.
What you see will not be, nor what you imagine will not happen.
The end is close, so take your dose.

I'm sure I'll be playing games in the future and going "Damn. Halo was better than this."

But I'm sure, though, games will get better.

Anyone think when they said they stop the Halo franchise that meant the games based off of Halo rings? MC is drifting to an unknown planet(not a Halo), they can do an Elites side of the story during some point in timeline, they have Onyx to base off of and much more.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

Oh my God, people. The franchise is not ending.

Frank O'Connor already confirmed earlier this year at Emerald City that they weren't done with Master Chief's and Cortana's characters and stories. The franchise isn't going anywhere, and 343 Industries' recent spawn into existence should be enough proof of that.

Stop pissing your pants about something that is very obviously not true.

You should miss Bungie-made Halo games, not Halo completely. You WILL see a drop in quality after Halo: Reach. Sorta like Halo Wars...

I have a feeling Halo Reach wont be the last Halo. I think its going to be the start of an all new story with a brand new main character

The difference between Halo Wars and the future internally-developed games is that Frankie is likely going to be at the helm of them, rather than some outside studio. Don't judge until something is shown.
