Seems a little extreme.
"Black" folks are not black, much as "White" folks are not white.
Let's all just hang on to reason and keep it real. Johnson is a "black" guy. Whatever. I'm a "white" guy. Lemme get all mad about it.
So calling somebody black when they are is racist to you? What do black people call black people? They usually call them "black" or a more racist word if they are "gangstaz"...IF, and i mean "IF, anybody takes offence to me using the word "black" that actually is black then please tell me and i will stop it...Anyway, back on topic.
Uhh...I was agreeing with you. Johnson could be called, "Sergeant hat guy," "Moustache guy," "Black guy..." All of these describe him. In a game where the Marines seemed to be primarily White, he became the "Black guy" for quickest identification. It has nothing to do with negativity. I don't understand how anyone could find that racist. (Other than the idea that referring to anyone with regards to their ethnic appearance at all=racism. Which I guess it technically is.) So...back on topic again...
