I was watching the opening cutscene from E3 on Gametrailers (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-09-halo-3-odst/51015#com ments_top) and when the Prophet of Regrets ship jumps you can see In Amber Clad fly in next to it and make the jump with it.

It's nothing to get excited over but I'm impressed. That was something that could've been easily overlooked

these are improved graphics over halo 3 but only because bungie had more time. meaning if they could've done it in halo 3 they definently would've.

Bungie's attention to detail is stuff of legend. Its what other game devs can only aspire to achieve.

Haha I heard about that, until you mentioned it I never checked for myself

Im sure there will be a lot of those times where they will be talking about some other area in space and you can say "Yeah Master Chief is there now, I was there in Halo 2"

Also, a few of us were talking during matchmaking and Halo: Reach is definitely going to be, not a first person shooter, not a third person shooter, but a second person shooter. Bungie is going to revolutionize the way you watch other people play games.

This is true. Half life 2 looks amasing even now. And episode 3 is mind blowing.
Heck even the design of the first half life was immense.

i agree, that is pretty amazing, also thx very much, i have been trying to find a video of this ever since a friend told me that he had seen it, and I LOVED IT! Nathan Fillion is so awesome, i wish he was the character you played as, not the rookie, that would be sweetness! I hope in firefight you can take off their helmets for part of the armor customization, cuz i would run around as nathan all the time!

you can take off your helmet

I never killed a man that didn't need killing.

That is a nice catch. Amber Clad is so tiny, makes you wonder what the heck Miranda Keyes was thinking. i went back and watched the corresponding cutscene in H2 on HBO. She asks for permission to "engage" the Covenant ship. Whatever could she hope to do against a ship 100 times the size of hers?

Man is born free but everywhere he is in chains.

Nice find! I've always loved the amazing detail of just the smallest things that Bungie puts in.
Sure, Half Life2 may have better graphics, but I think there are more hidden details and Easter Eggs in Bungie's games. I remember when I was playing Halo 2 and I first saw the flying sentinel factory in the sky on the level Quarantine Zone, I realized that I passed by that thing so many times.

I hope we mean Half Life 2 has better graphics than Halo 2. Because to Halo 3? err...

Anyway, since we;'re talking about Half Life, that game has a pretty good attention to detail. Granted, the story isn't that complicated and the details are more in the vein of "help us" on walls, but not too much from there.

I was looking for it actually. I was playing that mission on Halo 2 earlier and I thought, I wonder if you can see this in that scene. Until then I didn't notice it.

Haters are going to hate.
Praisers are going to praise.

The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

Believe me, you will doubt them again, many times. Especially since four other ships are supposed to follow In Amber Clad, and they are not in the vid. They redesign and rethink a lot more then you think. Just cause some of the events are detailed doesnt mean that all are well thought through.
But still, its pretty cool that they included In Amber Clad, even though it is a key part of the story/plot twist.
