My answer is no. ODST has a new campaign and a new hero. An expanshion is with a new campaign and the same hero example is FO3 DLC's they have the same hero(you) and a new campaign so shut up about ODST being an expansion n00bs.

I had a very similar thing, only I threw a 14 story building out of a pool and hit a kid on a paper aeroplane.

The Flood is just this awesome :D

no new multiplayer = no complete game

plus it doesnt have any form of matchmaking so it doesnt qualify as a complete game

It was originally classified as an expansion, but Microsoft said it was a full game, and they priced it as a full game later.

Go Rams and Missouri!

It is a standalone campaign expansion to Halo 3.

By the way, do you understand the concept of an expansion? The Fallout DLC levels aren't as large as an expansion. Halo 3: ODST is just a larger scale of those expansions. A full game would include more than just a campaign and a new survival mode.

Marine Corps.
Semper Fi.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Full game in my opinion. I believe this because they now include Halo 3 multiplayer with a second disc. Plus, Microsoft knows how long people have been wanting a Halo survival mode. Firefight is here, and Microsoft knows we want.

It's undoubtedly its own game, not an expansion. And expansion is something that, well, expands of the game. By that, it's usually just more of the same.

ODST is quite different and much more appropriately called a spin-off.

LMAO
Wait, just because there is a new protagonist means it can be justified to be a complete game?

Go Go Happy Time!

LISTEN UP DUMB APES

An Expansion isn't a FULL new game. Just added some stuff to it, like Halo 3 ODST.

A Sequel is a whole 'nother game. New Campaign, New Options, Etc.

Haha, good one man. Oh, god that brought a tear to my eye.
I remember back in the day, when games didnt have multiplayer. They were still $60.00. They had no multiplayer, other than local and system link. Be glad we HAVE multiplayer.
Anyways, No. I dont consider it an expansion.

It's an expansion. There is no new multiplayer, just a new campaign and a new hero. There have been plenty of expansions like this. Microsoft just wants money.

I completely reject your reality and substitute it with my own.

Firefight alone counts as its own multi-player. It may not be that same as matchmaking but you can play it online through xbox live with your friends. So i must say good day to you for failing. please jump in a barrel of boiling tar .

Oh, so I guess Mass Effect must have been an exspansion too then, and Bioshock, and all the other games ever made that have no multiplayer.
