"Let me turret, you suck at it. Don't be sad we all know it."

Dammit, the game is $60, the maps/ MAPS YOU DONT HAVE/Recon are all just bonuses. Quit b.i.t.c.h.i.n.g people!

God damn I'm sick of you pathetic kids complaining about the price.

Either buy it, or don't. Stop coming on the forums and ranting, trying to justify your decision.

STOP whining!

eh stop complainin.i mean altogether its a good deal.first of all we got the controller which would cost up to $60 and the game is 60 bucks.they lowered the price by $20 for the controller.and besides you could have waited for the map packs to become free.thats what i did so please don't complain anymore.thank you.

Spammed group invites or recruitments are NOT WELCOME!Unless i know you, DO NOT SPAM ME without a bloody good reason.

"Violence isnt the answer, but it sure is the solution"

Think of it this way. If you want to take Halo to a friends house that doesnt have it, you dont have to dowload the maps when you get there.

That gets a thumbs up from me.

Microsoft's carelessness was a colossal failure.
They failed to protect Halo 2,
When the great journey is upon us
Their heresy will stay their feet.
And they will be left behind.

Ok I have been a strong halo 3 fan (until it broke [sad face]) and I have bought all the map packs for it. Now this is what I heard (correct me if i'm wrong but) Halo 3 ODST will be a $60 2 disk edition featuring one disk firefight and campaign and the other containing Halo: 3 multiplayer including the heroic, legendary, mythic map packs as well as three new maps ok?
now figure this out
heroic= $10
legendary= $10
mythic= $10
maps that come with ODST= $10
new gametype= $0 (FREE)
new campaign= $20-$30
so total= $60-$70 right?
but wait i have all the maps already (exept ODST maps)!? so total= $30-$40

Not in Ireland my friend. There's a store near I live and it's selling the game for 44.99 euro.

(I don't know how much that is in USD)

Stop complaining, its a new game, new campaign, new characters, fire fight, Halo Reach beta, all the map packs. Not to be rude or anything but It's not Bungie's fault your cheap, it's only $99 you can wait till the price drops after a few months. Don't forget Bungie is a company they need to make a profit btw you need to consider the cost of advertisement, Postage and Handling and other aspects that may affect the cost

QFT

If it bothers you so much OP, don't buy it...

Oh come on, as if you don't have enough money.
And if you REALLY don't have enough money you're probably a ten year old.

You all see this guy? ^^^ He SPEAKS the truth.

Problem is all of you are calculating it based off you. The game is priced with the average consumer in mind. Deal with it. I'm also getting short-handed here kinda but there are business reasons why the price makes sense.

Rule 6: Respect the Admins

“It’s their website, and they can do whatever the hell they like with it. You’re a guest, and hassling them about how they run things is akin to going round your Auntie’s house and curling one out in her tea-pot.”

Listen, I'm in a good mood so I wnon't be an -blam!-. Microsoft makes the price, If halo ODST was nothing but campaign and fire fight, that means no multiplayer, no maps, it would have been $60 anyways. If it was just campaign and nothing else, it would be $60. If it was just 6 hours of a few cutscenes and 1 hour of gameplay it would be $60. Regardless of the content with or without the maps it would ALWAYS be $60. It is the standard sell price for ALL xbox games with no added features such as the "limited editions" with extra goodies.

No matter how you do the math your wrong. Every last game made for the xbox 360 is going to be $60 when they're brand new. So your not getting ripped off. Your paying as much as you would for any other game.

I reallise some people say bungie announced it would be $40. Even if they did that would be their Ideal price, but microsoft has trump and will decide price. They wanted it to be $60 dollars like every other f****** game.
