I think its totaly worth it, in the fact that it has the new firefight (whish is a multiplayer in my eyes) Also it does allow co-op campaign, which i tend to play a lot. Though, i can understand being a little bit annoyed, but i do think that you wouldn't even be thinking that its a bad deal if bungie hadn't called it an expansion before E3.
Don't blame me if that came out as gibberish

I am the hand of fate!

I support Bungie's products for two reasons-they make kick-ass games, and they actually listen to their community. Until they stop doing those, they'll have my unconditional support, purchase wise, and in whatever else way I can give it.

I couldn't think of a signature...

No, cause I already pre-ordered it.

I'd buy it whatever cost, it will be great!

Ima BEAST

I'd buy it regardless. This game seems to address all of the problems my friends ever really had about Halo. And they are really, really obsessed with Nathan Fillion.

The way I see it, ODST and Conviction were priorities for me. Once that slipped to 2010, I bumped up Forza 3. Now that i saw that MW2 trailer, I bumped that up and moved Forza 3 down.

You see how ODST never moved?

To me, it is a game, not an expansion. So I will gladly spend $60 for it!

Reach MMO. Here's to hoping.

And the people that believe "the hardcore playlists would be more popular if the rules were strictly MLG" can come off it, now. If you're not willing to support something close to your own setup, there's no reason for us to believe that cloning our own lists and stripping the variety down will attract more people. -- Shishka, Bungie.net

I think the main problem that people aren't recognizing is that Halo 3 was underpriced. $60 dollars for Halo 3, that is amazing. For all the things that Halo 3 offers compared to any other game it is amazing, there is absolutely no comparison. Whether you like Halo 3 or not, you can not contend that it offers some much with MP, campaign 4 player, theater, forge, customs, video + gametype storage, etc.

So...when Bungie releases a game that offers more that 90% of the games that are sold for $60 dollars it feels like a rip off at first.

Halo 3 = underpriced
Halo 3: ODST = priced appropriately

This game really does look like $60 to me. I've pre-ordered and am going to be saving up... as soon as I buy Kodu Game Lab (today).

Nah Im gonna wait till I have grandchildren so it'll be cheaper.
No s.h.i.t I'm gonna buy it, I dont get why people are whining about the price. Its a full lenght game with more stuff to do than most other games. Seriously, can anyone explain why its not worth $60?

No multi-player? Games without multi-player generally have 40 hours + Single Players if they expect to sell well.

I prefer señor Legendary Member.

Roadhouse.
I have seen the powers at hand and I can honestly say I am not ready

I don't see the problem with paying full price for this game. The game has so many additions to it that it deserves the $60 dollar price. Now if it was just the story mode with no Firefight and maps than that would be a different story.

I agree with this. Bungie was being overly cautions in the early stages of this game by calling it an expansion. If they would have gone with telling us it was a full fledged release, no one would be complaining about the price.
