Humans... That's what they'd look like.

As long as we don't see Chief, it wouldn't be disastrous. Although I still wouldn't support it.

They would be tall, muscular, and very pale skinned.

If you want to see spartans without armor, try Halo Legends perhaps?

No because then they wont be mysterious.

They'd most likely look something similar to the Imortals in 300. Due to having no light ever touch their face.

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

What I would like to see is the Spartan Armor being put on before battle. In "Fall of Reach", Eric Nylund's description of the way Spartan armor was assembled created some awesome images in my mind.

They do take off their suits lol they are not freaks this is when they first get their suits and before they got them they wore regular clothes when they were not on missions just like the marines did

I agree it would be cool to see the Spartans getting their suits on and ready for battle with some sick music in the background playing

Absolutely not. Giving them a Human appearance would take away from the fact that they are badass super soldiers.

Ti Soldier

for those of you who have read the books, we can figure out what they look like. for those of you who haven't, get off your asses and read them! without helmets is fine but we don't need to go through the life of the spartans to see them. also, this game will most likely follow the battle scenario in the latter chapters of Halo: Fall of Reach book. read up... also you will not have good energy shileds during the game. most likely they will be pre halo 1 sheild tech.

if you read the books you get a description of his face, so why does it matter.
he's got brown hair, he's freckled, and he has a gap between his two front teeth.
