The Controls on the PC suck. I play halo 2 online on xbox live, so I am so used to that it's hard to make a transition to this. I love halo multiplayer on the PC so I want to keep it (just got it)...I have 1 question though, since I don't enjoy the keyboard/mouse controls, can I get that logitech controller and play with that? or is that NOT compatitable?

Why not just use an XBox controller if you want to use a controller at all? I've used one since I first bought Halo PC way back when...

They just need an adapter that will cost you next to nothing, or you could adapt one yourself and download some drivers (which are available on my site).

Just one question, what do you love most about hpc online?

I personally think that FREE online gaming is its most alluring feature. Im sorta stingy over money, so online without subscriptions works.

Yeah the only gaming for nothing is prolly the best part but the campaign is fun too.

I wish there was ranked matchmade games like on XBL.

SO, where can I find this adapter to hook my XBOX controller up to my PC?

I dont have Xbox and really dont intend on buying it....so is there another good controller I could buy that would work better than the keyboard?

Nothing will work better than a keyboard. There are things that will substitute for it though. Go to EB or Best Buy and look at the controlers there.

Well, you could always just buy the controller... You don't have to buy a whole XBox...

i recommend getting used to the mouse/keyboard controls. You can aim a lot easier with the mouse than with a joystick once you get used to it. If you can't handle high mouse sensitivity, then set the mouse sensitivity to 2.

Hmmm...isnt that a bit restrictive, though? Ill admit, I sometimes join a n00b only server for the fun of blasting the cr@p out of everyone, and other times Ill join a completely advanced, uber-pro server just to learn some tactics and get skills (and get pwned in the process). So I wouldnt like that matchmaker too much...

If you wanna buy a controller, get one that has as close to the same # of buttons that the xbox has. But apparently, the best idea is still to reconfig the xbox controller for PC

yah just google smartjoy x adaptor, or u could search for a usb adaptor for xbox controllers, but i find keyboard and mouse to be way more accurate, and u get used to it after a while. i bought one of the adaptors when i first got it and i couldnt get the drivers to get it to work properly, so i said screw it and did keyboard and mouse and now i cant go back to controller. ;)

10!!!!!!!!! How is 10 even playable?!!!!!!! Well....i am new to the whole pc gaming and stuff (6 months). Even at a setting of 3, my aim goes all over when an enemy pops out.

I sit at 8-9. 10 seems a wee bit too jumpy. Just realize that as you play games as much as some of us, you get used to shorter, quicker, more precise mouse movements. I worked up from 3 by upping the sensitivity by one and playing for about 5 hours until it felt comfortable.

Hmm...I've been playing for 10 hours now...eyes hurt, need rest :0

Yes, people accuse me of aim-bots. I don't think a quick turnaround i as dramatic as the CSS aimbots, though. I dunno, people find excuses for why they're so bad, so they delude themselves into thinking you have an advantage they don't.

just make the controls closer to eachother so they are easier to reach instead of goin all over the keyboard... thats a lot easier. Or get a joystick or summ.

The default keyboad settings on Halo PC are pretty much the most efficient and easy to use so try those.Use W,A,S,D instead of the arrows(it is on default).Trust me it`s quite fine.
