Perception is everything.

I was thinking about the idea of campaign map editing, and thats just a little too far fetched don't you think? What if there were a way that you could unlock campaign missions into forge after you beat them. Then you could have complete control over where the AI's attack from, and you could build some unique custom game stuff. Im guessing that the limit in campaign for people will be 4 like halo 3, so you could invite 3 friends, and play around in a unique campaign experience. It would kind of be like customizing firefight, except we have this huge campaign map, and the level can actually be completed. For example, take the part of the mission "The Covenant" in halo 3 where you ride in hornets. Remember you have to fly across all of that open water. Well, if this editor were implemented, you could delete the hornets, and instead add a giant bridge across the open water, making the experience a little more difficult and unique. Add a couple of rockets, lazers, or whatever on the bridge to take down the opposing aircraft above. Anyone like this idea?

Well, yea, you'd be able to pretty much customize everything.

Perception is everything.

Bungie could make it to where only the pre-edited version of the map can award achievements and completion medals.
