Well, I was assuming, if it were doable in Reach, can the "gender" preference for your multiplayer individual be more akin to the gender that is selected? At this instant, before any individual initiates any detestable annotations, I would prefer a more feminine body silhouette (no exposed genitals, breasts, skin, or extremities, as rendered in numerous representations and reproductions of female Spartans and Elites on the internet). Not a character reproduction that is exceedingly -blam!-ly poignant, but as an alternative, a body profile that exemplifies the femininity slightly more. For female Spartans, a leaner waist and appendages, in addition top a distended breast region, would be a pleasant addition, designed for a feminine guise. For female Elites, the breast region shouldn't inevitably be attentive, as a concern; however, they may perhaps be shaped vaguely leaner in their corporeal exterior.

Perhaps a presentation, reminiscent of this, designed for a female Spartan and this for a feminine Elite model. Sangheili males may perhaps be modestly bulkier and more elevated (the Sangheili boast a culture comparable to ours; however, females typically aren't permitted to perform martial assistance).

Yes; it's not exceedingly offensive, for female participants. Furthermore, it brings out the femininity, so it doesn't appear too masculine.

Just assume the appearance of the female Spartan, in the midst of the helmet, concealing her cranium.

First on a BWU.. yeah, I'm cool.

But in multiplayer, each character has to be the same height, and width. So there are no advantages. Everyone would choose to be female, because it gives them a slighter advantage.

Yes because the elite vs spartan model argument is awesome! let's carry that over to reach...

In all honesty, I don't think lady Spartans would look that different from guy Spartans because of the training/enhancements.

He's saying that their armor would be a slightly different shape, not overly encompassing her parts. And nothing that you;de be able to jack off to easier than seeing a chick in a full snowsuit. I think It would be interesting, add a little variety (Be great for machinimas) and I like it.

Well, the character models shouldn't be such a great deal more diminutive. It would be a male Elite/male Spartan comparison. Female Elites may be perhaps as tall as a Spartan, and males slightly more elevated. Female Spartans are slightly smaller than a male Spartan. It's not such an immense size distinction. I prefered the idea because of more realism. Instead of possessing male Elites/Spartans that appear like they were castrated, why not include substantial female models as well (yes, even reptiles, amphibians and fish have internal testicles, otherwise they couldn't produce sperm)?

But in no way would a Girl's armour be different.

A Marine girl's armour isn't different, and neither is a Spartans. If you want to be more feminine, choose pink as a colour.

I'm sure that all the feminist in the Halo Universe argued, "OH why is a Girl's armour different then a man's armour?!?! They should be the same, equality amongst all!"

So they got what they wanted, and now you want to change that.

Your arguement is you want to see a height difference. This would not work in MULTI-PLAYER. The people would choose the smaller Spartan to get a slight advantage. Everyone is suppose to be equal. No advantages or disadvantages.

Eh, maybe. People will still argue over it, though.

Yes, but the armor of marines' can be manipulated to fit the body shape. A Spartan's cannot. It's titanium. The female Spartan, typically smaller than the male Spartan, wouldn't essentially experience content in TITANIUM body armor that's equipped for a male Spartan.

You aren't going to get what you want because it is unbalanced.

Hey! Listen! HEY!- The words of Navi

The armor needs to be the same, but the Spartan moves different.

We're regarding a three inch discrepancy as of the contrary gender. That's not a great deal of stature lost.

IF it isn't a big difference, not really noticeable, then why would it happen!?

Vaguely dissimilar body silhouettes for each gender. We require this Halo game to comprise the best prospect as possible, if it is to be Bungie's final one of the entire franchise.

Answer this, do you want advantages and disadvantages to picking a certain character type?
Will there be a significant difference? If there won't be then it isn't needed.

If there is a significant difference then it will come with an advantage or disadvantage.

It is a lose/lose if you have different character models with different attributes. Higher pitches of voice are all that really matters. Spartans in thier armour look the same.

You are generalizing girls, saying that they are smaller then men.

Whilst some girls are taller then some men, and vice versa.

The only way I could see this working is if you could customize your character to change thier entire body. Which would make the game totally unbalanced.

Even then, everyone would choose the smallest settings so that they are a harder target to hit.(think your ideas through)

Your idea is either not significant enough to merit doing, or it is too significant and it would make the game unbalanced.

LOSE/LOSE.
