Hey, jackass, how about this. make it like freakin real life! A chick gets in a fight with a dude, a chick is faster and the dude is stronger, or maybe some crap in the same area of balances but in a different way. Maybe, ohhh...I don't know...how God originally made???? You know, in real life,..the thing you might forget EXISTS. The female thing with the model is a good idea, you know it, I know it, The OP knows it, and honestly people think elite's are cheap, but honestly I find them exactly the same to snipe, if not easier. So just c'mon it would be a great way for female players to express themselves without looking the whores. And BTW in Gears 2 NOT A SINGLE PERSON complains about the Kantus's/Skorge's Tallness, and it's fair. It's only in Halo. And do you wanna know whY? Because Bungie is the only company who ACTUALLY CARES about what their fans think!

Answer this, do you want advantages and disadvantages to picking a certain character type?
Will there be a significant difference? If there won't be then it isn't needed.
If there is a significant difference then it will come with an advantage or disadvantage.
It is a lose/lose if you have different character models with different attributes. Higher pitches of voice are all that really matters. Spartans in their Armor look the same.
You are generalizing girls, saying that they are smaller then men.
Whilst some girls are taller then some men, and vice versa.
The only way I could see this working is if you could customize your character to change thier entire body. Which would make the game totally unbalanced.
Even then, everyone would choose the smallest settings so that they are a harder target to hit.(think your ideas through)
Your idea is either not significant enough to merit doing, or it is too significant and it would make the game unbalanced.
LOSE/LOSE.
