I am an avid gamer with a passion to keep games fun and strategy provoking, rather than simply button mashing instant-reward games that plague the market nowadays. I'm not kind, but I'm rational, fair, and maybe, just maybe, somewhat intelligent.
This thread provides the lulz.
Horror seems to forget that he can do all the stuff he posted about. He can glitch, cheat, whatever if he wanted to. He's just being a drama queen seeking attention. I think he might be on his period.
Frankly, we don't care if you do not like the game. If you don't like the food, don't go to the restaurant. Simple as that. Let's break down your points shall we.
1) I can win despite the other team being host. You have to improvise and start thinking on your toes. Host does not decide the game, however yes, it has a major influence.
2) Yes the lunging is a little ridiculous at times. The trick is to run forward and lunge, and even jump if you need to, that is how you get those far lunges.
3) I think sweep sniping is good and bad. But here's some advice for you, don't let the enemy get the sniper. If that is unavoidable, deal with it. Get smart and try and kill him. I rarely get sniped in any Halo games because the way I move. Try and be unpredictable towards the enemy so they have a less chance of sniping you.
4) I have to somewhat agree that the super bounces ruin the game. They're only fun in customs. Perhaps you should learn to super jump perfectly so you can go get that guy who is ruining the fun for you. Don't sit there and complain, do something about it.
5) Yes the unbalanced teams sucks, but hey, there's this game called Halo 3, and they fixed this. Maybe you should check it out.
6) Try shooting at the enemy when they grab the flag since you are near them. Or better yet, learn to camp your flag a little better.
7) Some people are really good with grenades, as for the splash damage through the rock/cover, I have never experienced this but I can assure you that some part of the splash damage did in face directly hit you.
8) This is a glitch that happens in Halo 2 and Halo 3. It happens due to lag, there's nothing that can be done about it. Unless everyone gets a T1 connection.
9) This happens in Halo 3 as well. It's just another latency/lag issue that is caused by bad connections are clashing connections.
10) The Battle Rifle is THE weapon to use. Most games have a versatile weapon because it would simply be a pain to use 2 or maybe 3 weapons for different ranges. Other weapons exist however, to utilize a certain area of combat. Such as the sword is a god for close range if you learn to master it. As for glitches, learn them or get better at countering them. Simple as that. The glitches evolved Halo 2's multi-player for the better. It allowed people to be clutch and pull of ridiculous things.
11) This glitch is good because it cuts down the reload time. When you reload, you are pretty much defenseless.
12) Learn to properly counter this by getting a weapon that will kill the gunner effectively.
13) This happens in every game. Deal with it. Besides, you can't tell a child what he can and cannot play.
14) This happens in every game. Deal with it. Besides, you can't tell a child what he can and cannot play.
15) The maps that are used the most are the ones the excel in most areas that make a good map. That is why they are used the most.
16) Bungie is a very busy company. They are quite small compared to their main "competitors." They do not have the free time to go in and fix the glitches. Besides, the glitches themselves were actually loved so why take something away that a lot of the community loved.
Now if you'll excuse me, I am off to go publish this novel.
