RAWR!

I was just wondering if there was like a limit to how many lives you can have in firefight? 30? 60? 100? over 9000?!?!?!?!?!?! haaha Or is it unlimited?
bungie said in a past update that after i think it was a round or maybe a set you get like 5 more lives or something? but you for sure can get lives. should there be like a certain way to get lives like kill the most enemies during a wave and you get like a life?
discuss!

And so there was a man who ate cake.

And he was happy it was that way.

I'm pretty sure you start out with a pool of 7 lives that are shared.

There could be lives that are gained over time, though that hasn't been confirmed.

That is correct. After each round (5 waves), you get lives back (if you survive). The 7 lives count for the entire team, not just yourself.

i remember in an update on bungie.net they said you get lives after a certain number of lives so thats why im wondering how many you can possibly have?

You can keep getting more lives, but you have to be able to finish a round, and considering the rounds get harder and harder you may only get up to so many lives, but that's entirely dependent on how good your team is.

So really there isn't a set amount of lives total.

watch this

you see the lives go all the way to zero, then regenerate to 7

so you get 7 lives if you survive a round?

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Yeah I was wondering this too, I know you start the round with 7 and regain lives at the end of the round - but if you go a whole round with no one dying will you get a bonus life or something?
