This is a bit of speculation about halo 2 from the 3D (4D if you wanna get techinal) Screenshot of a warthog geting blown sky high by a bunch of power cores. If you have not seen it.. check it out here. First of all, notice the plasma sword in the background. What's really interesting hapens in the first few frames. The powercores are ignited by what seems to be a SPnKr rocket. However, This "rocket" emits a lot of light judging from the light reflected on the powercores and warthog (look at it slowly). Also if you'll look at the "rocket itself" Its white, cylindrical, and has two sets of fins along with some stripes and stuff. Looks like a MISSLE to me guys. Also check out the angle from which it was fired.. if you cant tell from the first few frames, check out the vapor trail toward the middle of the pan-O-rama. It looks like it was fired from very high, (if this is the new SPnKr) but I think it may have been fired from an aircraft... a human aircraft (or maybe just a missle hog from a high ledge). I know people have speculated about this before, maybe we have proof now. Holla back yall.

its a rocket from the RocketWarthog, not an aircraft.

Well, I think that technically the new rocket launcher does launch missles now because it has the target tracking. That is the difference between a rocket and missle right? Missles are guided?

Actually I am pretty sure thats just an SPnKr rocket. Check this http://www.bungie.net/Games/Halo2/Gallery.aspx?Gallery=Screen shots&page =2 If you see the screenshot on the bottom left hand corner, you will see a Spartan in blue MJOLNIR jumping and firing one of these rockets.

Dunno.. but I still wonder about the angle... Unless they parked the hog on a hill or atop a building... could be the new launcher too.. but I can just see bungie laughing at us cause its been in front of us all along.

well there is a stone wall right behind the camera, which a spartan could be standing on. Plus zanzabar is a too small of level to have flying vehicles...

I started this speculation the day that the 3D screenshot came out. And it was then determined soon after that the missle is just the usual rocket from the launcher.

Where?:
If you look at the E3 demostration video fly by view of Zanzibar you will then see that the rocket came from the top of a seperation wall, which you can easily get to, that serves as a nuetral zone on Zanzibar and seperates the base from the beach.

At first I thought that too but sadly it was just wishful thinking. Hope that clears it up for you!!
