Subject: Firefight... Any music?

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Hi all,

So we've all come to fall in love with the Halo music from Bungie's wonderful composers. (Marty and Michael)
My question is, to raise the mood of Firefight, will there be any music? At all?

Because I can imagine in the wave when Chieftains come in, something like this turns on. It just makes gameplay that bit more effective and creates a mood of tension.

It really made me think after hearing this brand new track for ODST.

What do you think?

The name's Ian, Game Designer at Whisper Game Studios, very off-and-on Bungie.net visitor and avid Bungie fan overall. Message me if you wish.

Lol, I was gonna ask that but once I saw a demo from IGN, I was like oh... There isn't music... Or maybe it was just an older build they brough that was fully functional. I'll ask MARTY!

Lol. I've seen the gameplay videos but that isn't the full retail edition of the game, perhaps in the final game we do get music. I hope so...

I was in 5th grade. I popped in the Halo CE disc into the massive, clunky first generation Microsoft Xbox, and wrapped my small hands around the controller that was almost too big for me. Little did I know what I was getting into.

10+ years later, I still look up to my childhood hero, Master Chief, while everyone talks about He Man and Spongebob haha

It has to have music. The sounds of battle simply aren't enough.
