allright, im not sure if this has been answered before, but i have dsl, i can play games fine, but i cant host games, when i do nobody can join, if i unplug my router and make the connection go straight to my computer then it would work fine, people can join my games, but i dont use the computer closest to the router and i use the router to play, other people in my house use the router too, im guessing there is a firewall in the router that is not letting people join, probably a NAT firewall or something, does anyone know how to disable it? i also know that doin that makes u more vaunerable to hackers, any ideas?

Assuming your router is indeed a NAT router, consult your documentation and look for something about the DMZ. You'll have to put your computer in that zone for anyone in the outside world to see you. This does make you more vulnerable, as people in the outside world can potentially access your computer through normal means. This is why it's a good idea to have a software firewall running, too. Hope this at least gives you a direction. :)
