Subject: Will this game have balls>?

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Although that'd be cool, Halo is meant to be campy and cartoony once in a while. It certainly isn't Bungie's style as I'm sure you've noticed, they're not dark people. They have a sense of humour that they like to put into the games.

1) Computer A.I. has not advanced to the point where N.P.C. Interaction can be entirely unscripted and is effected by everything. the processing power and development time is not there.

2) In real life, that is EXACTLY what the army talks like to eachother.

3) in Reference to point number one, the only time the marines in Halo ever really speak is in scripted sequences, when they are kicking ass, actually dying themselves, or when the player interacts with them. 2 out of four of those are guaranteed to bring positive, and sometimes stupid reactions.[/quote]

Your responses lack a meaningful interpretation of the concept at hand... I'm sure you know EXACTLY how the army talks to each other. Right?

I know for a fact they don't act like broken down babies. they scream, yell, and do (more or less) what young men do when in the company of only other young men.

Have you ever seen "Saving Private Ryan?" Once again you fail.

Um i'm pretty positive that saving private ryan was a MOVIE not a DOCUMENTARY so you can't use that as a credible example

And i suppose you know all about war from playing CoD and watching some war movies. I have family that are currently in Iraq, they've told me stories of how they scream insults at the enemy while they fight. Do your self a favor and act mature like you say you are.

Oh and most of your agument (or whats left of it) is based around statement said in while the IWHYBD skull is on, that skull is baisically a joke, the "Get owned" statement is only said while the skull is on. The marine doesent say "tank owns everything" he said "Tank Beats Everything" theres a huge difference.

In real life, when your in war and you could be attacked and killed at any moment you not talking about how you could die any minute, you try to make jokes and such to cheer up everyone and make them less worried about the heat of combat.

when you join the military, spend 4 years there, be in the heat of combat, come back and then tell us that this doesent happen in war. only then will I listen to you.

ps. Your not 19, your way to immature to be 19.

And you are? I have not seen you in this thread not once. Have you been cowering in the corner, trying to muster up some courage to speak your OPINION? And yes I am 19 years old my friend. I've been playing Halo since you were a little grasshopper. I know what Halo use to be, and what it could be now.

umm.. I think you are confused. I don't understand what you mean by 'Documentary, or Movie. We were not discussing this issue. Have a nice day.

Halo games are a mixture of Awesomesauce with some Coca-Cool on the side.

I would think the marines would be saying what they do in H2/H3 to keep morale up. If I was pushed closed to the edge of existence I wouldnt be skulking about it, I would at least TRY to keep the situation as optimistic as I could, and guess who won in the end? :)

Its people like you who give us 19 year olds a bad name. I mean seriously you won't even consider what other people are thinking. I bet their are 12 year olds more mature than you. Anyways back on topic.
You tried to say that Saving Private Ryan was an accurate way to judge how people in the military act. Its just a movie those weren't real soldiers they were actors paid to act with drama so that you are more interested. In the military, army, navy, air force, whatever I would bet that many of the men act like the people in halo act instead of falling over crying like babies and whining all the time. Not to say that they don't have times when they break down but they don't do it in battle where their life is on the line.

A soldiers sacrifice is never forgotten

I missed the part where bungie came into your thread and said "No one can read this thread and then post about it because the discussion has already started". and you fail, because nowhere in my post was my stated opinion.... and really.. you couldent come up with any intelligent response to my post except say that i've not posted here before, you my friend fail....hard.

ps. you still have not stated when or where the movie saving private ryan became reality, you know absolutley nothing about war or combat except what youve seen in movies.
