Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

If you watch the new ViDoc here you can clearly see around 1:40, they mention Reach, and it SHOWS REACH FROM THE TRAILER!

I mean come on! Does bungie need to hint it to us anymore?! It's clearly saying "Hey, look. We put in part of the Reach trailer in ODST to prove it's the same reach that the ODST's were at before"

If this doesnt show it, then I guess certain people are more hardheaded than I thought.

Does anyone even read these?

I don't see how this disproves time travel, if I view a picture of my first bike does that mean it exists even though it's broken and destroyed?

So the ODST's were at a futuristic Reach, in the past?

If the ODST's from Halo 3: ODST were at Reach, which was mentioned in the ViDoc, then it isn't some 'crackpot time travel reach planet that doesnt make sense'.

What are you on about? Haven't seen it yet, but, as I understand it, they talked about Reach, and then there was a FLASHBACK, meaning someone thought of it as it was then, when it happened. So how does it dissaprove timetravel?

Sure.

Well there is the fact that they didn't happen to mention how there were 2 Master Chiefs...
They also forgot to mention about how Master Chief, being such a good soldier, warned them about the Covenants attack, therby halting the destruction of Reach...

Or did I miss that part?

Fact 2: European guys are hotter

I guess I can understand if you don't want to make out with guys in the US if they're so ugly, you should just say so though.

This doesn't disprove anything. A prequel happens before the events of the another game. If time travel did happen then the events in the game would happen before Halo CE. Still making it a prequel.

Time travel is a weak plot device, as stated by Joeseph Staten. Being that he is the major story director, he would not say that if they were going to use time travel.

On top of that, if someone did happen to travel back in time during the Halo storyline, it would completely ruin the rest of the story, as John - 117 and Cortana would have MOUNTAINS of data on the Covenant, Flood, and Halo rings and could prevent many events from happening saving thousands of lives and possibly several planets.

No time travel.

Well time travel generally means that the Chief would have gone back to the same Reach the ODSTs were at from the REACH trailer, and the ODST ViDoc... otherwise it would not be time travel.

But the planet from the end of Halo 3's legendary ending looks nothing like Reach, so there is no time travel.

BTW: going back in time (which is physically impossible according to relativiy, you can only go forward in time through dilation) does not change the future. It makes a new (parallel) universe in which the outcome will be different than the original, but as soon as the past is "changed," the "present/future" from the normal universe is disconnected from the one which you travel back to. Thus you could not go "back to your future."

This somewhat makes time travel more possible. He could have just said no time travel but instead all he said was it's corny.

you had better watch out, better not pout!

Reach was somewhat like 20-30 years before ODST. Thus it is possible that some ODSTs did fight on reach.
