its been joked around with several times at E3, and im guessing that we will be able to control garbage trucks even if it is for a very short time...

My option would be "I don't want to, but I think there's a good chance they will be in the game".
I just think it won't feel like halo if we start driving civilian vehicles. Ah well I trust Bungie to make a great game.

if they are I believe it would be almost like a fast travel type of thing. so you dont have to spend alot of time walking. like u actually dont drive them you can just use them to get to the other part of the city faster.

Using the information from the ViDoc and Joe Statons interview i think that the garbage trucks will be drivable but, similar to the elephants on sand trap. Like a reskinned elephant.

Or drivable Shadows. It would make sense; they were used in New Mombasa as enemy troop transports. The concept is similar to the Elephant.
