I just started playing the game online. I know there were a whole bunch of things people used to do for cheating. Does boosting work for Halo 2 online and if it does is it the same as Halo 3. Do people still use lag switches. Any other things I might need to know about please reply or post.

Halo 2 online is easily the worst game ever. People have literally dozens of ways to cheat and unless you cheat too, you will get beaten every time. They know every cheat in the book because all they do is practice glitch after glitch for hours and days straight until they get it down perfect. If you aren't willing to sacrifice 16+ hours of your day in-order to practice all the glitches, don't bother playing because you have no chance at winning.

horrormaster34 does have a point. Not as bad as he describing. But the glitches and cheating does ruin the game play. Especially if your new to the game.

You spoke your opinion already. I'm not butting in. But your kind of trolling also. Just let it be.

Your insane, hardly anyone cheats anymore.
But it was bad, and I myself admit that I was a cheater
I bridged, stand-byed, team stand-byed and boosted and circle boosted on COUNTLESS occasions.
I just wanted to take the time now to admit my faults and apologize to everyone in Halo 2 I cheated out of a win.

Very impressive to admit such a thing. I'm not sure if you made a friend of horrormaster or not but go you for rising out of that behavior. That reminds me to work on my boatload of faults.

Tambien, Grump.
Must do the same, starting with not having a few beers in me when I get on the forums.

You're kidding me...

The glitches and cheaters are what make this game what it is! What would Halo 2 be without BxR and SuperJumps and modders? Nothing!

The flaws are what make it better. The memories will never die.
