We will never forget Kitchen #8 01/27/07 *a WTF-saur runs by*
Ok, there was this new fangled thing called an ;xbox.' What is this? I like my PS2 the best.Must be Bill Gates trying to get more money.*ring* oh, it's the telephone. "Hey Santa, you wanna come over and play this game called Halo?" "We need one more guy to play."....."OK"***several hours later****I purchase an XBox that night to practice against all my firends that just handed my head to me on Hang 'Em High. I set up 3 other guys around the map as targets. (yeah, I bought 3 extra controllers - it was a sickness.) I return 2 days later as the undisputed master of the pistol.LAN parties were absoultely awesome back in the day, but with XBL and Playstation Network, they are quickly becoming things of the past.Do you have any LAN stories about good 'ol Halo CE?
Best Thread EVER
Local LAN parties are a glorious thing. Too bad they have faded away over time...
Love LAN parties.Still do CS1.6 LAN parties, but yeah.My first Halo:CE LAN party was the best and most memorable. It was during the summer, and i was only 12 years old. we got about 12 people together, and we played for 26 hours straight. Good times..
R.I.P. Halo 211/9/04 - 4/15/10- B( )B
Aw hell yeah!!Halo 1 LAN's were the best. I still host them on occasion. There's nothing else like a game of CTF at Blood Gulch or Sidewinder, I have had so many good time with that game.
This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:Posted by: the omega man117 Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.
Back-2-Back Televisions and playing Halo: CE until the sun came up back in school...yeah I know the beauty of the Halo LAN's. It was probably the most beautiful thing that I have experienced when competitively gaming. It was so addicting and no one wanted to stop playing. I have not played a LAN in days and it makes me sad.
Me and my brothers still play 1v1 & 2v2. TV in my room and the other is my younger brothers room. It's still a blast every time we do it.
