The same thing used to happened to me with my hd 4870. i used to get above 200 fps.
You are getting too much fps, my guess above 120 fps. Enable vsync to lock halo 2 pc at 60 fps and your problems will be gone.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

My best experience with Halo 2 Vista was forcing VSYNC and capping the framerate to 30 FPS with the "FPS Limiter" program. This killed mouse slowness AND mouse lag. All the links to FPS Limiter are gone, and I've lost my web site, so I will PM you with details on how to get the file.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

I tried all the tricks, but could never eliminate the mouse lag with Halo 2 Vista. It is a well known problem with the game and probably the main reason I could not play comfortably online. What a piece of crap.

This is an old account iDarkWint3r is my new Bungie.net user.

Same on my 32-bit Vista.I have another Vista PC it's 64-bit I'm using right now.The 32-bit had many errors because it was an early version. It also has BSOD as well.(BSOD = Blue Screen of Death)
