Ok so I'm new to this forum (I usually hang around The Flood and the Bungie Universe Forums). And I know that Halo Custom Edition is popular in the Halo PC Community, so I am making known of the STW CE clan. We play mostly CE scrims, but also do some Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Gmod 10. If you have Xfire and CE and are interested in a fun, bot-free, casual gaming environment, drop us a line on our xfire homepage: http://www.xfire.com/communities/stwoh, or add either me, or the clan's leader on xfire. Mine is: thearbiter72a, his is evpicard. I am not recruiting, but rather making known the exsistence of this clan, for any CE players tired of playing Blood Gulch, Coldsnap, and Extinction.

Thank you for your time,
The Arbiter (STW-Kirk)

5 years and counting on Bungie. I feel old and worthless.

You should move this to the Classifieds, or whatever the recruitment forum is called.

Oh. Ok, thanks. My mistake ^^.
I'm going to make a similar post there, but leave this post for any CE players.

Edit: I just looked at the classifieds, it looks dead :(.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

What does your Halo CE clan have to offer? What makes it better or more worthwhile than the other clans with better sites, established forum and in-game communities, and their own servers?

We are a friendly, hack-free community, and we also play many of the lesser-played CE maps on our Dedicated Server . It's pretty cool, because while pretty much all maps played in CE are Blood Gulch, Extinction, Coldsnap, and Hugeass, we select the maps based on gameplay. There is a process where we go through requested maps to be put into our longcycle (our short cycle is just z_sanctuary_pb2 for simplicity), then test them based on gameplay (usually smaller-midsized teams of 2-5), then vote on which (or all) maps tested should be included. This is a way that YOUR maps that YOU want to play can be enjoyed with the rest of the clan (we are a clan of 33). We do use Teamspeak, so a mic would be recommended, but NOT required. Many of our members have mics, but more do not. Also, although we are on the smaller side of the significant CE clans, we are very respected, as our members are very polite. The advantage of having a medium/large clan, rather than a larger clan of about 50, is that while we have a relatively large, diverse group of people, we still are all close with eachother, a feat that is nearly impossible in the larger clans such as POQ and CE. DO not think that I am insulting or degrading these legendary clans, because I am simply pointing out how having such a large clan can be bad.
