Hey guys I was just wondering what you think of an option to delay/stop enemies spawning in Firefight - I think it would be a great idea for machinima creators as they can have dialogue and such while the enemies are at bay and then in action packed moments you can just turn them on again. Perhaps an in-game option as a button on the D-Pad and a vote by other players?

What do you think? Any ideas to help?

And then you could pause the game so that you could go an get some health and weapons to prepare for every single wave.

I would like a way to keep the enemies at bay (as in Zombies and windows in CoD5). At least then you would have to work for it.

But if you were trying to make a machinima, you would need people constantly running out of the screen to block them over and over. It would be funny to have a grunt stroll into the set, jump, scream and run away as the film keeps playing though.

i think there is a delay of sorts already when the phantom spawns and drops of the crew that they carry (but a option to set when they come in probably wouldnt happen i would like to see it but it probably wouldnt happen)

You are right about the delay with the Phantoms - but that means you would have to film inside the spawn area for the whole video unless you were fighting. It would be nice to just turn enemies off for a while to do what you like, find some cool places to hide, etc.

Yeah, but they were also supposedly putting skulls into the Firefight maps, and that would just make it easier to find them. Free achievements, basically.

With the skulls it's just the effects of the skulls. So at the end of one wave, say Mythic will be turned off and Cowbell will turn on. Not actual skulls in-game.

Oh, that's just the Bungie ninjas. Mess with them and they'll bring a hammer down on your head that's so big, they have to keep it on Jupiter 'cause it won't fit on Earth.

what if they decided to add the firefight maps onto the multiplayer disc. not for matchmaking, just for custom games. would be good for machinima. although, I HIGHLY doubt that would happen.

Well you still have the chance of a random enemy walking up behind you and ruining a shot. I was going to say you couldn't have more than one person on campaign, but you can have 2 player split screen.
