Halo1 is dying. Who can we blame for this? Microsoft, Bungle, and Gearbox. They obviously do not care about their customers. They failed to even include the most basic elements of online FPS's: Voting, AFK kick, and decent ban system.
The worst of all is the lag, which is TERRIBLE. Halo1 is the LAGGIEST online game OF ALL TIME, and Bungle, M$, and Gearbox don't give a crap. They wanted it to work well on 56k modems, which 1% of the game uses, lol. Ironically, it would have worked better if they tired to make it for fast connections - HOW SAD. Every patch M$ makes contributes even more to the lag. The game at its current state is UNPLAYABLE due to lag.
This game is dying at a very rapid rate. After the release of Halo2, the number of players dropped online at any one time dropped by 1000. Since then, it has dropped from ~1200 to ~800. In about a year, this game will be a ghost town.
Bungle and M$ manage to mess up another one of their games. Mabey thats why they didn't sell many copies of HaloPC.
Well, the death of haloPC will still be a happy ending for bungle and M$ - they still get their money, and a few thousand pissed customers.
The only thing that is saving HaloPC is a HUGE patch, that fixes LAG, Glitches, Crashes, and adds basic online features.
Otherwise...
GG BUNGLE & M$
