A quick description of the climate of Seattle:
Nine out of the twelve months of the year our weather is mostly overcast. Drizzles are common, rain is a bit rarer, and heavy rain very rare. On certain occasions during the winter we get some snowfall, usually only a couple inches. On much rarer occasions we'll get four or more inches, which is capable of disabling the city. We have a very limited response to snow simply because, even though we're one of the northernmost major cities in the continguous U.S, we almost never get any real snow. After all, snow typically happens in the upper twenties, low thirties, when there can be both cold and moisture, which is a temperature range that we only enter for a very limited amount of time in the winter, and usually not long enough for any serious snowfall, either ducking under or going back over withini a day or two. It's not usual for there to be only three or four inches on the ground and there to be mass school closures.
On the other hand, from early to mid-June to around early September, the sun is constantly out and rain only occurs once or twice a month, if that. It can be quite beautiful here. The only problem is, as the Update states, no one has A/C. I agree, ninety isn't that bad. It's just that, as the Update states, no one has A/C here. We only get into the nineties for a couple weeks out of the year, and triple digits are virtually unheard of (these past two years have been a bit of an oddity). It's why we've bought about seven fans over the years: they're cheaper than A/C so they're not such a waste of money for nine months, and they keep the house in the seventies when it's 105 outside.
Also, we don't complain when it hits the forties here ;) I always find it amusing when my family from Cali comes up here for a visit and are donning coats when it's sixty degrees outside.

DrAcula7x, you may have found the incomplete sentence, but you failed to correct it.
Incomplete sentence: Perferably one covering grammer and punctuation.
Corrections: 1.A book covering grammer and punctuation would be perferable.
2.In your new found spare time, may we suggest you read a book covering
grammar and punctuation, perferably.
I only hope that these two qualify as correction"s" as stated in the paragraph, and that this counts as written.
I don't know, I don't really like those corrections. I mean, they're gramatically sound, but they don't really flow. Maybe something like "In your new found spare time, may we suggest you read a book? We recommend one covering grammar and punctuation, as we strongly feel that this may be a wise and valuable investment of your resources," would work?
Also, am I the only one that finds it sad that this entire thread is alternating between posts on the weather and posts on English grammar?
