The first time it was just the lighting. If you ask me, the Hunter in the vidoc was obviously not blue.
Also, the regular Hunters fire a continuous Fuel Rod stream, while this particular Hunter seem to fire a controlled burst, which does very look to be a single Fuel Rod.
In Halo 3, the Hunters can stop their Assault Cannon if you're close enough for them to charge you. Also, why is the so-called "golden Hunter" only seen on Security Zone where the lighting is the brightest?Dude, we haven't seen much at all for both sides of the argument, really. Not that many Firefight maps were shown and this sort of information is perfect for teasing in a Bungie vidoc. Depends.
I know Hunters can stop their fuel rod cannons, more often than not they tend to shoot for a good 3 seconds before being harmed/ distracted by enemy fire. If you look at the video it wasn't being shot at, no instance of interference, and it fired what looks like a single green burst with a focused audio effect (much like Halo CE, except using Halo 3's sound).
Still, that's just how I see it.
*shrugs*
EDIT: I'm looking at it right now. I know I'm incorrect.
