I swear your just in denial now. Gun Metal Grey or not that's close to blue and is a section of the armor shaded from the light which is making the rest of it look gold. Case close.

Hunters are only blue. They've been only blue in every game so far so why would that change

We've been Master Cheif in every Halo game...oh wait.

Hunter variants exist in the Halo universe. Silver Honor Guard hunters guarded the Dreadnaught before Mendicant Bias killed them.

Its blue, its just they way its reflecting light. I remember in Halo 3 that I had a carbine and it appeared white because of the lighting. If something can be white from purple just because of the lighting, Im sure blue can look gold because of the lighting. Hunters only had one color so far so why would it change in a prequel?

Drones didn't fire plasma rifles or have shields so far so why would it change in a prequel?

Sorry, I can't hear them over the sounds of Modern Warfare 3 on my Turtle Beaches.

I would've preferred urk shooting down the supposed "new" Hunters rather than the "Elite vs. Jackal" debate.

The Hunter one is annoying.

It's the lighting!

There's only the Blue Hunters!

I really don't see any blue. If I did I would accept that there are no new hunters and move on. If it was blue, under the shadow of it's shield his leg would appear blue, but I just don't see it.

well then I dont see the sense of sending regular blue ones to kill masterchief and sending harder hunters to kill regular odst's so why would there be a color change?

  • 07.31.2009 10:52 AM PDT

i'm like 85% sure it's the lighting

anyway, halo: odst's got some crazy lighting going on.

This is understandable, but there is still the possibility of a hunter variant. I really want to believe that was an elite we saw, but I am going to accept that it's a marksman for now.
