Life is interesting...

When people in this forum are talking about a planet like the ones in the Reach trailer and at the end of the Legendary ending of Halo 3, you aren't taking into consideration it is just the atmosphere. The layer of all the different gasses and such reflects light from the water and other particles in the air. So, if a planet has water on it, and some sort of sun (I don't think a red giant or something would work for this) the atmosphere is going to show blue. Here is Earth's atmosphere. My point is, there isn't a valid argument saying that the planets are the same or are different so we can drop that theory.

Well, if you're only talking about the atmospheres then yes, the argument is over.

However, the planets are different because in the Halo: Reach teaser, Reach is made up of continents with cities at the edges of the continents and forming on them. The "Legendary planet" is one solid landmass, not made of continents, and possibly made of trillions of sentinels like Onyx.

So no, they definitely aren't the same.
