In the ViDoc theirs a section near the end when you see from the inside of a ODST helmet, whoever it is, is lookin down. He turns the safty off his SMG and then aims at a phantom. In the background it looks like Snow. It's a completledifferent lighting than we've seen so far.

A little while later(Before?) you see a ODST pod fall from the sky and crash somewhere. The sky looks grey like it's actually got Snow clouds blocking the sky.

I personally like the Halo universe, but I don't want to stay in a Covenant Occupied for several seasons...

On the other shovel... (Harvest Moon: Halo)

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

To the Topic poster, I see what you're talking about in the trailer. If you look, that takes place around the time of the initial drop, right after Regret's Ship jumps. It's not snow, but probably debris from the destroyed Space elevator. It might be radiated, hence the blue glow. It could even be some phenomenon from the atmospheric slipspace jump. We'll find out, I'm sure.

You can see it around 1:49, and a little later on.

Go Rams and Missouri!

Starts on October 20th, 2552, you fight at night and flashback to the daytime. It has been confirmed that the flashbacks eventually catch up to the nighttime city, so I assume the longest it will take is 1 day, and that's only if it carries over to the morning of the 21st.

...Love, love is a blind man's game, you have to look around to know where you are...

It takes about 200 years after scientists developed the first pokemon "It-who-has-no-name-for-fear-that-its-face-will-haunt-yo u-your-dreams" and 80 years after the last one was killed

I belive that it is the fumes from the slip-space rupture that as distributed through the city and is giving the look of your snow. It is the same color as it and it you say that is is right after the rupter than it is quite possible that it is true I belive.

And you are a worthless poster to this tread.

Then why doesn't the nighttime part of the game have a background like that...

Unless the "fumes" have no light to reflect off of. Which come the day after.

Even so, why can't we see the fumes on Firefight maps such as Security Zone. Or during Dutches(sp?) flashback?

The *fumes* as i decided to call it may have had time to dispurse but nightfall, and your idea mayalso be true as to why it no show up in firefight and dutches flashback? I really have no idea.

It may take some time for the fumes to fall out, I belive Truths ship was in low earth Orbit instead of hovering over the city. Instead of right above the city. We don't know the physical propertys of a slipspace rupture(Or slipspace itself for that matter.) The fumes could very well take all day and night to start falling, only to be noticed(Fully) on the next day.

Hopefully the fumes won't make VISR useless.

I don't think so, seeing both a ODST veiwpoint(cutscene style) and then the SIs veiwpoint makes me think that it's very likely to be campaign.

Although I don't see why a snowy Firefight map wouldn't be fun. *imagines Firefight on Avalanche.*
