Wow Bungie, you guys are crazy. You definitely don't back down from a challenge. You're releasing ODST in the most game studded fall season since 2007 (ironically when you released ODST) and not the best economic situation. You have to compete with Forza 3, Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, borderlands, and more. Even though halo is gonna sell, I applaud not holding it back until 2010 like many other games.

The only sad thing will be the contents of my wallet after Christmas.

b. for once I actually look forward to the end of summer (thanks bungie for making me abandon everything I ever beleived in since kindergarden)

Halo 3 came out in a much, much more crowded season.
And anyway, Halo 3: ODST is the game that gives the fear off. Games like Borderlands and whatnot should be a bit afraid. Halo will sell gagillions no matter what.

I do fear that borderlands gets caught up and doesn't get paid attention to. Same with Brutal Legend.

You are kind of forgoetting that most of the games that went to 2010 went because of Halo and Modern Warfare 2. the others are just background noise.
