That's pretty good for 2 hours of music without explosions and people yelling. I don't care if you steal it, but God does...

I'm thinking rifle-mounted grenades. Not a great angle, not a great scale, but that sort of ammunition looks almost correct...

i think that s dutch mickey has a back pack and is not the heavy weapons guy

Haha fail wrong!!!!!

Dutch may be heavy weapons speacialist, but he uses the turret and such.....

Mickey is a pilot and Explosives specialist..... hence giving him the rockets... just look at the halo 3 odst pic with all of them in it, the rocket guy has Mickey on his body plate.....

Ok, back on topic...

It could just be a chain, ammo, something thats explosive, or something for being a pilot.....
He's just beast like that....

You don't have to be such a jackass about it. Thats what i hate about this site, everyone's an -blam!-. My personal guess is those are his cub scout beads :P

I think you summed it up nicely! :D

We might never get an official answer to this, but it has certainly been fun guessing, so thanks everyone for your input, and feel free to keep guessing if you want to. :)

why are you looking at this?

Shotgun shells

yeah, I thought of that too, but shotgun shells look more like this.

And I know it's probably some kind of ammunition, but which weapon (in the Halo universe) would use that kind of ammo... a Mauler perhaps?

I don't know, maybe those are some kind of containers for something else... o_O?

the mauler is an alien weapon and it uses clips.

Yes, I knew that (well, actually, I forgot it uses clips), but it's the only weapon I could think of that could fire that kind of bullets.... but it was just a guess, I didn't give it much thought. But thanks for clearing it up anyway.

As a great man has said before "..." That is where the truth lies my friends

I doubt it's any type of explosive material, because that just be hell, get shot once down there , you lose your leg and quite possibly your life, or step in a fire, so I'm guessing, something a little less active? Maybe They are assault rifle bullets? They look big enough. What about M6/S bullets, they use armor peircing rounds, maybe.

I don't know, they seem too wide to be assault rifle rounds, and I think they're a little too big to be M6 bullets. Kapura's seems like a better guess if those were in fact some kind of ammo, the only problem is I don't think that kind of weapon exists in the Halo Universe, please let me know if I'm mistaken.

But you're right about the dangers when carrying explosives like that (considering those are some kind of explosive), although, please correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe ODSTs (and even soldiers in real life) carry grenades on them all the time, and in many cases those grenades are totally exposed and prone to be activated by all sorts of threats, so I believe it's just a risk they're willing and, actually, they're used to take.
