My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

I hate it how every human is weak as all hell in videogames. Humans can pack quite the punch, and I was thinking about how you apparantly can't hijack vehicles in ODST. The ODST could probably pry open the hatch of a wraith in ODST, or explode it with a grenade, then slam the head of the dazed brute inside, and pull him out. A Human could dent metal with his fist. Hell yes it would hurt, but he could do it.

What's up with humans being so weak and unable?

I don't know who you hang out with, but the people I hang out with can not dent metal. And they can't not lift a 500 pound pure-muscle brute out of a tank.

You have strong friends. Just know not everyone is as strong as the people who you hang out with,

Hey remember in Halo 3 when Johnson punched that brute in the gut and...nothing happened? Yeah...I seriously doubt an ODST would just "slam the head of a brute inside" let alone be able to pull the brute out when it's 3 times the size of a human to begin with.

So... a 500 kg ape.... should be lifted by a normal human? lets say 80-90 kg with pure muscle? will never happen.

there not ordinary humans there the most elite units you can have without argumentation

there proberbly as strong as the worlds strongest man on average

But I was talking about Johnson >.>

The cutscene in the first level near the end. Arbiter points the chieftain and Johnson out. Chieftain throws Johnson to the ground. Johnson gets up and punches Chieftain in the gut. Johnson's hand literally "bounces" off the Chieftain. Chieftain stares at Johnsons end "taps" Johnson and he goes stumbling.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

Well, I think they said you only couldn't hijack in Fire Fight, for the purpose of not completely dominating.

ya know, im proud to be an inverted player, its like we're a rare breed or something

Do NOT send me Recruitment Letters, doing so will get you blocked faster than you can say "Huh?"

They make us realistic in video games. We are weak, I don't care how strong you think you are.

The car thing doesn't mean anything. The Brutes are wearing metal armor with an energy shield covering them. Get passed the shield and you're still punching metal. Thats after you have managed to get into that tank.

The moment the ODST touches a brutes head, it'll grab his arm and pull the ODST in or hold him or even just break his arm right there and then. Then climb out and finish the job.

Anyway, my friend dented his dad's car when he punched it... he split the knuckle and bled, but yeah, humans are actually pretty damn strong.

Exactly why ODSTs or anyone don't go out and punch metal. What good are you then if you go and bust your fist doing something stupid.

As for your friend. What did he accomplish by busting up his fist and giving his dad a nice repair bill?

your not getting what im saying if it takes the cheif 5 hits to kill a cheiften then how the hell is johnson a spartan 1 going to kill him one hit.

or toss some more grenades or spray inside the hatch to finis the job. No need to stick your hand in there. I certainly wouldn't :)

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

This isn't some carjack on 113th street. This is a military vehicle, piloted by an intelligent gorilla. First, you aren't tougher than metal. Second, brutes will rip your arms off and beat you senseless with them.

If you really think that someone can rip open a hatch to a tank, I dare you to pry a car door open without touching the window.

Humans aren't weak in Halo. Just weaker than everything but Grunts and Jackals. Everything is relative.

World's strongest man/mr universe = those men are at their weakest for their photoshoot. They haven't eaten, they haven't had water. They are far from their peak when they win that contest.

I misunderstood. Sorry. But now that you mention it...if Johnson is a spartan 1 and his hand "bounced" off the chieftain...what hope do ODSTs have?

well now its now a heavly armoured cheif its a pilot brute with next to no armour on and thats would be easy to kill as odst are like as strong as the present day worlds strongest man

I wouldn't risk putting my fist anywhere near brutes if it were me. If I'm punching them 10 times, it only takes one from a brute if it were to regain it's senses long enough to do that. Then again, Brutes have body's of stone (Johnson on the covenant level punched a brute in the face and brutes face barely moved).

So I'm keepng my hands to myself really ;)
