I was thinking that in the future; if you pr-ordered the game, you would get an extra chapter rom the extras section that would show what Johnson did after the warp (I havn't played halo 2 so I dunno what happened) :P

Want to know what Johnson did? Play Halo 2. Tells you pretty clearly.

As much as Johnson is epic, playing as him will take away some of the magic.

No, because he isn't a part of the storyline. I believe he is with Master Cheif, who is leaving New Mombassa at the time. Also, the Fire Fight Sgt. Johnson character is just a pre-order bonus, nothing more...

Johnson goes with Miranda Keyes to go get Halo's Index whilst the Master Chief is assassinating the Prophet of Regret. They get it, but soon run into the Arbiter, who knocks them both out. Tartarus, the Chieftan of the Brutes then shows up, and claims the "Sacred Icon" for his self. He then betrays the Arbiter at the order of the Prophets, and knocks him off the edge. Tartarus then takes the two, Johnson and Keyes, to the Prophet of Truth, who orders Tartarus to take them to Halo.

Meanwhile, back at some underground dingy lair...

The Flood overlord, known as the Gravemind, talks with both the Master Chief and the Arbiter, who he has grabbed after them nearly dying. He tells them that they must stop the "Keys from turning.", which I always found interesting as it is Miranda Keyes who is to turn the Index. But I think he was talking about the Index. Anyway, he sends Arbiter to one "likely spot", near the control centre on Delta Halo, and he sends the Chief to another, on High Charity. The Chief then battles through High Charity in an effort to stop Truth and Tartarus from getting to Halo, but he didn't get there in time. All the meanwhile, the Flood arrive upon High Charity, and begin to infect it.

Arbiter battles through the Brute traitors with the help of some Elites, and he eventually meets up with R'tas Vadum'. Vadum tells him they need a Scarab to break through the control door, and so they battle their way to the Scarab. When they get there, Johnson and some other captured Marines are already fighting the Brutes, and you help them out. Johnson then climbs aboard the Scarab, and tells the Arbiter to get a Banshee. Arbiter does, and gives Johnson cover. His Scarab blasts open the control room door, and the Arbiter goes inside, where he confronts Tartarus. Tartarus laughs at the Arbiter's claims that Halo will kill them all, and orders his Brutes to kill him, but then Johnson shows up, with a Beam Rifle, and orders Tartarus to tell his boys to chill. Tartarus reluctantly complies, but then throws Guilty Spark at Johnson, and forces Keyes to activate the ring. Cue the boss battle with Tartarus, in which Johnson lowers Tartarus' shields as the Arbiter tries to kill him. Eventually, you kill Tartarus and deactivate Halo just in time. Thus ends Halo 2, and the epic adventures of Johnson.

Happy to help.
