it appears you have fallen into a sarchasm...
its the gap between someone making a sarcastic comment, and you picking up on that sarcasm...

In Soviet Russia, Xbox plays you.

I think it's great, I can't wait to go on 4 Player Co-op and then just explore the city with my buddies! :D

Awesome, I feel like I can have more tactic, and kinda mess around more.

Unfortunately, you will most likely always be kept together by checkpoints like in the campaign.

Nope. That's only for the first few missions. Even then it's not that limited.

This game'll be great.

nope, joe staten said that each player can set their own waypoints, if they wanted you to stay together why would they allow you to set your own waypoints?

in the flashbacks you'll reappear near your teammates but at night you wont.

Theres missions like in all the others isnt there? Open world is when you can go back and explore an area without having to redo part of the story. An example of and open world would be oblivion. Are you sure odst is open world?

I personally think that Halo 3 : ODST being open world is an amazing idea. One thing that I don't like about most FPS games out there is the lack of variety every time you play through the game. But now that you can basically go where you want, when you want, it's possible to replay the game a hundred times, and have each time different than the others. It also means that if you want, you can just fool around by driving around the city if you'd like without getting too too bored, which was something you couldn't really do in the other Halo games.
