Too many Bungie fanboys.

I pre-ordered ODST at Best Buy, because i had a gift card for it. I then found out that you have to pay extra money for Johnson. ITs 5$ if i remember correctly, idk if other stores are doing the same but just so you all know.

You have to pay 5$ to preorder plus 5$ to get johnson.

Also i pre-ordered online so that might be why.

I think you always have use five dollars to pre-order games, if I'm correct.

  • 08.01.2009 8:53 AM PDT

It goes towards the cost of the game later. You'll only have to pay $55 later.

Not to pre-order. You have to pay 5$ for Johnson plus the 5$ to pre-order.

Well that didn't happen to me. I pre-ordered from Best Buy and it didn't cost me anything extra. The tax was close to 5 dollars but that's tax. Plus, I had gift cards from way back when, so the game only cost me a little over 30 bucks

I know.

I just hit my local EB Games. I'm a regular, and they know I'm not stupid about this stuff.

OP, I think you should print off a bunch of info saying Johnson is free and take it in there. If they refuse to listen, take your business to EB games or Gamestop. They are really good with pre orders.

Forza Italia!

Go GameStop. I preordered it right off the Internet. No extra fee for Sgt. Johnson either. The funny thing is, I probably won't even play as Sgt. Johnson. I only like to have the option.

That is a $5 down payment, making the total pre-order down payment $10 to ensure that you won't just order it than not pick it up. It is also to ensure that you won't waste a Johnson pre-order code. Hope this helps a little.
