Here to end the borrowed time you've all been living on.

I will always remember the time when i was reading Halo: Fall of Reach as 'good 'ol days', and since it looks like that story is going to be retold i cant help but be kind of worried. When you read a book it's up to your imagination to create a rich world. In a game, the story is always going to manifest itself in a way you cant change. I mean, when i read FoR, I imagined the Spartans acting as a squad using silenced MA5Bs, complex melee combat, comlplicated commands and technology (such as setting bombs, putting a digitally produced camoflauge over the armour and switching approriately to shredder rounds) which i can honestly say i cant imagine being put into a game, at least by Bungie (not that they are incapable of doing so, they're awesome, but they try to keep their games more or less quite simple) so it looks like the game, while i have no doubt it will be unimaginably awesome, is going to kind of tell the Reach story in a kind of dumbed down way.

I hope a few people know what i mean but anyway anybody else anxious about Halo: Reach?

If you ever try and fail.....erase all evidence that it was you who tried

I got your back on this one.

I see what you mean, hopefully we'll see some flawless translation.

On a side note though, look at that trailer. They've already succeeded in capturing the same confusion, anxiety and fear I felt when reading the chapters about the Covenants discovery and invasion of Reach. This was with a trailer, imagine what they could acchieve with the game.

Let's look at the positives, we get the bonuses of interactivity :D

Well yeah you're right i suppose, maybe the positives will outweigh the negatives, if any, after all :p
