Heyyo,
Ok, halo2 has it's probs but the biggest one? $box kiddies. :P
at this point I say, meh, halo2, it's good, but much better titles are coming out for PC. like stalker. That'll totally pwn halo2. I think they said 32 player coop OVER THE INTERNET not ghey split-screen, will take a long time to beat (halo2's campaign ain't that long..) let's not forget FREE online play (I won't give credit to m$ for making $box live free for the rlease of $box 360. Why? IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE SINCE THE START. Look, Dreamcast, first console with online play = FREE. Ps2, also online = FREE. m$ money whores with $box? = costs money. way to go with siding with the monopoly company of consoles).
Yes, I know, I'm flaming him back, but I figured I'd be aright since he's just a kiddie, lol.
Sorry but halo 2 shadows pretty much every online game out there, it's huge (400,000 individual players), this stalker game is probably going to be shadowed by xbox 360's halo 3, face it, it will happen, with the hype, graphics, and fanbase. Besides, people choose what's easiest, they want an xbox360 because
A) You don't need an overpriced computer to run it. You could just get it on a 500 dollar system.
B) Xbox 360 is easier to play games on, they don't want to install and get all these system requirements from a pc.
Microsoft has a right to charge on their service, it's great, clans, friend lists, and instant message support, party support, and the fact that it is easy to use doesn't come cheap. Besides, it's only 50 a year, what you spend going to a nice restauraunt.
The other online systems that other consoles offer and halo pc offers are crap. Free halo pc? Thanks. Crappy lag in which I have to lead a target with a pistol? No thanks. I'll pay up and get quality. I'm afraid what you guys are is the "hardcore crowd"
