I know that there are going to be tons of responses telling me not to copy other peoples threads, but can you guys keep it on topic pleasezzzzzzzzzzzz . My idea for space battles would be that there is a level in campaign sorta like the gunship level in call of duty where you are in control of the super MAC on one of Reaches orbital defense platforms and, well, you blow -blam!- up with a really big gauss gun. This could also work for multiplayer, it would be sorta like star wars battlefront 2 except you can pilot the ship and basically you try to board the other persons ship ans place charges at the center. This gametype would be 12 vs 12 probably. And you could have real time damage to the ship like if you fire a bunch of archer missiles at your enemys ship whatever part you hit would no longer be useable to the enemy, like if you hit an archer missile pod it would no longer work. And there would be doors that seal off the part of the ship you hit so your enemy can tell the ship is slowly getting smaller.Of course more important parts of the ship like the engines, MAC gun, and control center would have heavier shielding. Another idea I have is sorta like a fire fight ripoff and basically your ship has been boarded by the covenant and all of the players will be on the same team and they must hold the ship against the incoming waves.
