Comcast. Don't know how fast it is, but it's hella quick. And it could be faster if we didn't have to have a 802.11b wireless connection (they suck).
ummm,
You have no idea what you are talking about do you.
802.11b is 11mbs from pc to router.
from router to internet is gonna be a max of about 1mbs with cable(cable averages around 600-800kbs), and as you can see above you the possibility to go to 3mbs with extra money thrown at the dsl company. So even with 3mbs download from the internet, you connection over wireless (802,11b) is still gonna be faster, 3 times faster.
Glossary or terms:
mbs: Million bits per second
kbs: Thousand bits per second
example: 1mbs=1000kbs
All that I really knew was that 802.11b is the slowest type of a wireless connection that you have. But Throwing more money at a DSL company here would do no good. Out in Utah, we get a 3 MB/s connection with Comcast because they just got a ton of bandwidth at their Denver place. Also, 1 Mb does not equal 1000 kb. It's actually a different number...oh, wait...maybe that's between megabytes and gigabytes...I can't remember...
