You don't kick a man when they're down, so don't teabag me when I'm dead!
Okay, most of us are aware that Halo 3 ODST allows you to write a four-character service tag with numbers and letters.
I'm not aware of any restrictions to number placement/letter placement and is they can only be placed in certain character slots (for example, character slot 3 could have to be a number).
This is NOT the place to call dibs on your own awesome tag or suggest tag ideas or whatever. Go here for that pl0x.
Okay, let's take a step back: have you ever tried to make your service tag in Halo 3 something like "p00"? If you have, you'll get an error message informing you that the particular tag you're trying to claim as your own is "reserved by the UNSC". I'm assuming it's Bungie's way of saying "you can't have that one".
But now Bungie are making the four-character tags, there must be some restrictions laid down. Or everyone will have things like "S117", "L33T", "DICK", "H0M0", etc.
So this is the place to suggest your ideas for service tags that should be "reserved for the UNSC"
My Suggestions
- Anything that shows up as -blam!- on this site
- dick, wang, or any phallic terms
- Any terms describing any genitals, or any immature thoughts such as bumholes, pubic hair, big arses etc.
- Other game references that Bungie didn't make (e.g. COD4, FOZA, GOW2, LBP1)
- Things that are meant to be insults, such as M0F0, N00B etc. (although the word would appear above your head along with an arrow pointing to you, so maybe we should leave this one...)
- Things that refer to the game (e.g. ODST, DARE, JOHN, ROOK etc.)
- Memes, such as LAWL, ROFL, PWND, NOYU etc.
Also, if Bungie are blocking things, please guys, block them in every case, and every adaption of letter spellings and other ways to get around the block (remember, ODST can be spelt as 0D57, OD57, 0DS7, ODS7, 0D5T etc.)
Reply with your own ones that you think should be "reserved for the UNSC", and debate whether my own suggestions are feasible.
